Bio:

Cheryl Zauderer has been a nurse for 23 years with extensive experience in maternity nursing. Cheryl is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and has a doctorate in Psychology. Currently Cheryl is an assistant professor at the New York Institute of Technology Department of Nursing. Her teaching responsibilities include Maternity-Newborn Nursing as well as Psychiatric Nursing, didactic and clinical rotations.

Cheryl also has a private practice where she provides psychotherapy and psychopharmacology for women who are suffering from Perinatal Mood Disorders. She has published several articles in peer reviewed nursing journals related to perinatal mood disorders and has presented at AWHONN conferences.
