Bio:
Dr. Moore is a board certified obstetrician/ gynecologist who has been in private practice for 24 years. She received her BA in Psychology/Biology in 1976 from Washington University, graduated with her MD from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 1980, and completed her residency at University of Tennessee in Memphis in 1984. She received an MA in Human Relations (Counseling) from Liberty University in 2007. A native of Memphis, TN, she is married to James L. Moore and is the mother of two children, Kyra who is 21 and Justin who is 17. She is a member of True Light Baptist Church and is a volunteer physician for the Church Health Center. She is on the active staff of both Baptist and Methodist hospitals. Dr. Moore is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, North America Society for Psychosocial ObGyn, North American Menopause Society, and Bluff City Medical Society. Dr. Moore is Tennessee Co-coordinator for Postpartum Support International and is a member of the Ethics Committee for Baptist Women’s Hospital. She is a participant in the Midsouth Perinatal Bereavement Council. Dr. Moore enjoys gospel music, collects angel figurines and is an avid sports fan.
