Kriti Lodha
Kriti Lodha is the Founder & CEO of Shera Care, a public benefit corporation building a new model of specialized perinatal intensive mental health care in Massachusetts. After a 15+ year career as a marketing, technology, and customer experience executive – including leadership roles at Toast and Procter & Gamble – Kriti pivoted her career to tackle the maternal mental health crisis as both an advocate and healthcare entrepreneur.
Kriti was motivated to turn her pain into purpose after silently battling and surviving postpartum psychosis during the pandemic: to raise awareness, remove the shackles of shame and stigma, and mobilize resources around perinatal mental health. She firmly believes that no one should suffer – or heal – in shame or silence as she once did. She is deeply committed to tackling the maternal mental health crisis head-on and advocating for all moms and birthing people across all communities – shifting the conversation toward timely treatment rather than trauma and tragedy. Kriti is a nationally recognized advocate for postpartum psychosis whose advocacy has been featured in CBS, TIME, NPR, The New York Times, and more.
Before joining PSI’s global Board of Directors, Kriti previously served on the Board of PSI’s Massachusetts state chapter, facilitated peer support groups for postpartum psychosis survivors, and led Team Boston for PSI’s The Climb, the world’s largest perinatal mental health fundraiser. Kriti is honored to serve on Postpartum Support International’s Board of Directors – and is especially proud to serve as the Board Liaison to PSI’s Postpartum Psychosis Task Force. Kriti also serves as Executive Advisor to the Mass General Hospital Center for Women’s Mental Health.
Kriti is an alumna of Harvard College and MIT Sloan’s Advanced Management Program. She lives in the Boston area with her husband, daughter, and dog. Her deepest “why” is her daughter – to role model the power of advocacy, service, representation, and leadership in creating social change.
