Cody Alvey, MS, CLE, PMH-C
Cody Alvey is a perinatal mental health specialist, certified lactation educator, and data-driven advocate who is passionate about expanding access to perinatal care and evidence-based support for families.
Prior to joining PSI as the assistant to the President & CEO, Cody gained frontline experience as a support group leader, home visitor, lactation educator, and community navigator, providing direct care and education to families navigating pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and perinatal mood disorders. Her lived experience with perinatal mental health challenges following the birth of her only child in 2016 became the foundation for her commitment to improving systemic access to care.
Cody holds a Master’s Degree in Data Analytics and Policy from Johns Hopkins University, where she focused on applying data-driven frameworks to public health initiatives. She is Perinatal Mental Health-Certified through PSI and a Certified Lactation Educator with CAPPA (Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association).
