Heather Morgan Shott, LMSW

Staff
Peer Support Specialist

Heather Morgan Shott, LMSW, is a licensed psychotherapist at Manhattan Psychotherapy Services in New York City and a peer-to-peer group facilitator for Postpartum Support International (PSI). Drawing upon both her clinical expertise and her personal lived experience with a Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorder, Morgan Shott brings a uniquely informed and empathetic perspective to her work with individuals navigating the complexities of perinatal mental health.

In her dual roles — as a clinician and as a PSI group facilitator — Morgan Shott is deeply committed to cultivating therapeutic environments defined by warmth, compassion, and an unwavering absence of judgment. She creates intentional spaces where individuals feel genuinely seen, empowered to explore their most vulnerable challenges, and supported in their journey toward healing and resilience.

Before transitioning into the mental health field, Morgan Shott distinguished herself as a seasoned media executive and editorial leader, amassing an impressive body of work across more than a dozen prominent national media brands in both New York City and Washington, DC. This dynamic professional background lends a rare breadth of perspective to her practice, further enriching her capacity to connect meaningfully with diverse individuals.
